USA TODAY Bestseller

Good things come in extra-large, smoking hot packages.

Things like pizza.

The very pizzas that I deliver for my dad’s restaurant, Peretti’s Pizza. It’s a temporary job, something to pay the bills until I graduate from school, but it does the trick. In fact, it's working quite well until Ryan Pierce of the Minnesota Stars decides to order a pizza from me, and life as I know it turns upside down.

You see, Ryan Pierce doesn’t just open his front door. He opens it buck naked. And suddenly, I’m not the one boasting the biggest, hottest package in the room. However, it’s what happens next that gives me butterflies whenever my phone beeps. Ryan starts to call, and then text, and then fifteen pizza deliveries and one fantastic night later, we’re friends with benefits.

So when he asks me to be his fake girlfriend at his brother’s wedding, I’m happy to help. But the longer we pretend, the more I worry that this is one package I might not be able to handle.

This was a charming little story that I devoured on audio. It's got a lot of heart and doesn't follow along the plot I expected. While a few of my predictions came true, there were enough plot twists to keep things interesting. The blurb is a bit misleading, but obviously had enough promise to get me to read/listen to it. Andi is a pizza delivery girl, in college to get an accounting degree but chasing her dreams of becoming a stand-up comedienne. Ryan is an ice hockey player who is rising through the ranks and living his dream.

The supporting cast of characters make this book a delightful gem. I've never read anything by this author before now but I'm interested to find any other books she may have already written or will write in the future. The parts I found predictable may not seem predictable to most readers....depends on the volume of books you read, I suppose.

Neither lead character made me want to smack some sense into their heads...that's always refreshing. The romance isn't unrealistic or annoyingly over the top. The insta-lust is there, the love part evolves a little more slowly...and that's also a refreshing change. You won't get a cavity, but you'll read a solidly good book...I can't recommend it more highly for a not too angsty read.

What a great book!! This book was all around good fun and romance. It you want an angst free read this is your book! The little blip towards the end gets resolved so fast that there's no time for your heart to twist. I truly enjoyed this book cover to cover. Andi was hilarious with her quirks and Ryan's insta love at first sight was swoon worthy. This is a great uplifting read!

What an absolutely yummy read. Lily Kate is new to me Author and I just kept seeing the cover pop up. It piqued my interest so yeah I one clicked. I'm so glad I did. I loved loved loved this read. The characters feel so real. The situations are so believable and I loved the Italian fam spot on. Andi turns Ryan's world upside down with her spunk and zest for all things, and I'm so glad she did. Heads up there is a beatch in this read and I just wanted to punch her but Ryan came through and made the right choice. God I can't wait for her next release. Minnesota Ice if its a series looks like it could be a huge hit. Delivery Girl sure was.
I really enjoyed this story!! I was unsure at first, as the first few chapters were a bit choppy. I had a hard time really getting into the flow. However it got better and better! So glad I didn't give up!
The two main characters were great and had wonderful chemistry. I liked that it definitely had heat but it also had a lot of funny too!
The supporting characters were interesting and had enough details to make me hope they get their own books but not so many that it was overwhelming!
Overall a wonderful read! I will be looking for other books from this author!
This was a seriously great book. I loved each and every moment. With a new author I always have questions and concerns but boy did this author deliver! I laughed at the comic moments in this sweet romance. Sweet and hot all at the same time. I also LOVED that she gave me a cast of secondary characters who each will need sequel love. I hope she has other books to come...and soon. I loved this couple and will need to have them included in some way in the next book. I always love books that give a little look into the future of previous couples so here's hoping. I also want to give a BIG thank you to this lovely author who published this book as a paperback. This is clearly an author who respects all of her readers. As long as she continues this she will have a reader waiting for each and every sequel to come. Great job! denise bailey
Delivery girl is one of the funniest books I've read since the packet series. I just loved it from cover to cover.

Andi works for her family business, Peretti’s Pizza. On the to be a comedian working dingy club to dingy club. Her biggest fan is a homeless guy who lives by a mailbox. One day she delivers a pizza to hot hockey God Ryan Pierce---who answers the door naked as the day he was born! The girl who finds humor in everything she does is suddenly at a loss for words. Well, it doesn't help she hits his expensive car either. I loved Andi's character. She made the book worth reading. She was flawed, but she also never forgot who she was. Being chased by a super hot hockey player can boost anyone's self-image.

Ryan Pierce never thought ordering a pizza would open up his future. He had ambitions--move up in the hockey world and win a Stanley Cup. Meeting Andi was completely random, but he was intrigued. He had fun getting to know her. He orders pizzas hoping Andi would show up so he could get just a little time with her. He became Peretti's Pizza's best customer! Well, that and Andi's dad basically pimped her out so Ryan would keep giving those HUGE tips. Ryan comes across as naive, but he's so infatuated with Andi he's desperate to bring her into his world.

Angela, Andi's dad, Ryan's agent brother and his fiance, and an evil witch are all side characters with their own stories.

Angela is so hilarious. She's brutally honest and blunt. Angela and Andi make a great team. I think we all want a friend like Angela. Her character is one of those who adds perks to the story.

Andi's dad just adds humor to an already funny story.

Ryan's brother and fiance are supporting characters as well, but they could probably get their own book.

I'm not saying who and what "the wicked witch" is because she's a part of the story I don't want to spoil.

I couldn't stop giggling. Andi, Ryan and all the other characters complete a well-rounded and hilariously romantic story! You have to check it out today. If you get tired of all those angsty, "I have a secret" romance stories, this is one that will definitely lighten your spirits!
